| So I know it has been awhile...but I need prayers! * Koryn & Kurt (sister & brother-in-law) are 8 months pregnant and their baby already is experiencing complications...please pray that my niece or nephew will have strong bones and be able to do what most of us take foregranted each day. * I'm uncertain with my job...not much security right now as to how much longer I'll be here. I have a feeling that another round of layoffs will be taking place in a few months. August and September we have to take a full day off work each week...with our paycut/reduced hours already...I'm not sure how much more of this we can take financially. * Prayers for contentment with where I'm at in life (i.e. apartment, job, etc.). Thanks! | | |
| I pray that this new year finds people living their lives to the fullest, with God's perspective: knowing that the people who we interact with each day have souls, and that we have an eternal impact on them. Are you who you wanna be? Live today as if it were your last. Forgive. Charish those around you. Be thankful for the people in your life....they're there for a reason. Love unconditionally!

| So I haven't done real good at keep up with this, but I'm gonna try doing better. Anyway, I just graduated from WSC with a BS degree in Business/Office Administration. It took 4 1/2 years, and I enjoyed every minute of it! I have been through some tough times as well. God has really tested my faith and He has brought me closer to Him through those trials. I've learned that I just need to rely on Him, and everything will pan out. God has definitely blessed me with a loving family and caring friends. So many times I have taken them for granted, and then I'm quickly reminded that we are only here for a short time and that we need to make the most of every day. "Live as if it were your last." That's hard to do sometimes. I find myself saying, "Oh, I'll do it tomorrow." or "I'll call them tomorrow." That "To Do" list just keeps growing and yet nothing gets done because "tomorrow" never comes. It's crazy, but I make it crazy. Well, Rob's and my wedding is fast approaching! How exciting is that!?!?!? I'm looking forward to what the future holds for us. It's going to be an adventure....a mighty good one too! We have grown closer and closer together as a couple over the years and have been so blessed to have the experiences we have had in our lives. Ok, well....that's enough for today. | | |
| Well...School is out for 3 months, and I am already slaving away at work in good 'ol C-town! I love it here! I'm living at home to save some moolah, and that's been great cuz I get to hang out with my younger sister more. She's amazing! I really look up to her, and not because she is 6'3", but because she has a wonderful personality!
I am praying for all of you back at WSC, I miss you guys and I can't wait to see ya'll in tres months! I hope all is going well for you. Let me know if you need anything. I love you guys! God Bless!
| 1. There is power of life and death in the tongue. An encouraging word to someone who is down can lift them up and help them make it through the day.
2. A destructive word to someone who is down can be what it takes to kill them. Be careful of what you say. Speak life to those who cross your path.
3. You can do whatever you set your mind to. Just don't let others make you believe you can't.
